After 14 unforgettable years at our school, the brilliant Ms Jeffrey is hanging up her red pen and heading off into a very well-deserved retirement. From her first day in the English Department, she brought energy, humour and a genuine love of literature to every lesson, making English engaging and a great deal of fun.
As Second in Department for eight years, she inspired countless students with her passion for language and her gift for bringing texts to life. She also co-founded FemBookSoc, giving students a space to talk, share, laugh and feel empowered. More recently, as our Diversity & Inclusion Lead, she’s helped to make the school a kinder, fairer and more thoughtful place.
Izzy in Year 12: "THANK YOU for the most amazing two years of A Level English!! Putney will not be the same without your passion and enthusiasm, and we are all so grateful for your support and help!"
Gia in Year 9: "Thank you for being such a kind, patient form tutor! You made Year 7 so much easier, being so warm and welcoming."
Chiara in Year 7: "You are so sweet and fun! It's been an amazing year with you!"
We will miss her wisdom, her wit and her infectious enthusiasm, but we’re so excited for her next chapter. Thank you, Ms Jeffrey, and don’t be a stranger!
