Year 7s explore the Globe

Students in Year 7 had a fantastic trip to the Globe Theatre on the last day of Activities Week. They enjoyed a guided tour of Shakespeare's Globe and were even lucky enough to watch some actors rehearsing Love’s Labour’s Lost.

Then then had a workshop in small groups, focusing on the play they have been studying, A Midsummer Night's Dream. The students learnt a lot about stage directions, how to interact with other actors and how to project; we clearly have some budding actors!

Everyone had a lovely sunny lunch and even got to pick up some goodies from the Globe Theatre gift shop. They finished off with a quiz on everything they had learnt – the two winning groups got 99% correct! Well done, everyone!
