This term in FemBookSoc, we have covered a huge range of topics, with presenters discussing novels, articles and TV (including the World Cup!).
We began the term with sessions on defining feminism, and whether we even want to, as well as feminism within theology. We then moved on to current affairs, with our discussion of the protests in Iran and how we can help.
Some of our Year 13s presented on books on female rage and women in the prison system, followed by multiple sessions on feminist responses to the World Cup and human rights violations in Qatar. Our latest session explored the TV show You and its use of rom com tropes.
We're all looking forward to more great sessions in 2023!
